Oyster & barbecue party
Invited to one of the high rise apartments in the area, enjoyed a rooftop terrace with barbecue grills having oysters, scallops, shrimps and sausages etc.

The cafe area was still under construction but other parts were all open. Very modern atmosphere, good place for studying, working and reading. I would visit here often if I were to live in this area in DC.
Carnegie library
If you want to experience and purchase Apple products in a grand museum like place, this is the right place to go in DC.
