Samgyetang/ samgyejuk

Tang means soup and juk means porridge in Korean. Samgyetang/samgyejuk served with kimchi.
Samgyetang is boiled for very long to have the herbs(tree barks and roots) be infused to the soup. These days it’s easy to make it since combination herb packs of samgyetang is sold in Hmart. Just add more jujube and Korean ginseng separately according to your taste. And for samgyejuk use sweet rice not ordinary (sticky) rice.

This Korean herb chicken soup is good for recovering the vigor when you feel tired, especially in hot summers.
