Smithsonian National Zoological Park

Perfect sized zoo park to look around within a few hours. Less people on weekdays.
Main entrance. Full of greens in the Zoo in fact I got many mosquito bites.
Cute elephant! It was showering with soil using its nose.
There are indoor cages too.
Merry go round full of kids. Diverse animal looking seats give extra fun!
Search for one Prairie dog in the picture!
The horses looked well groomed.
Cheetah is hidden under the bushes

Great place to visit for a short zoo park tour. I could see families with kids living in the area come often since it’s free admission.
