Yakiniku and tororo yam

Japanese style yakiniku and tororo with rice, served with miso soup and cucumber
Japanese people enjoy cow tongue as an expensive extra ordinary yakiniku grill beef part. Since it’s not sold in the US I just chose a good wagyu beef that looks like a tongue shape.

Yakiniku means grilled meat in Japanese. Fat tender wagyu beef goes well with the soy sauce and wasabi together. Tororo yam is said to be good for gaining vigor so people grind it and have it mixed with rice adding soy sauce according to taste.
