Niagara-Toronto-Pittsburgh (1. The US Niagara)
I planned a long driving journey to Niagara-Toronto-Pittsburgh.
First, we went to the US side of Niagara Falls.
We decided to go for the Cave of the winds walking experience instead of the ship because we tried the ship like 10 years ago.
If you arrive in the afternoon, the tickets are sold quickly and you may have to tour around the area until your time for entrance.
So we had to wait for a few hours to experience the Cave of the winds for the timed ticket.
The tickets are non-refundable so be careful when you purchase them, double check your further schedule of the day because it takes a long time you still have to wait in a long line after your entrance with the timed ticket.
We took a short tour of the area by the shuttle bus, had some food in our car in the parking lot, and walked near Niagara Falls while waiting for our designated time to come.
It takes roughly an hour to go around and come back to the place where you got on without getting off the shuttle in the middle.
Aside from the long wait, we really enjoyed The Cave of the winds.
Given the perfect weather, we saw multiple rainbows around the falls and the scenery was great.
We could feel the magnificent waterfall’s power.
I personally think summer is the best season to visit here because of the beautiful scenery on a sunny day and you can dry yourself quickly as well.
You will get all wet by the end of the tour whether you take a ship or a cave walk even if you wear a raincoat.
