Assateague and wild horses
Assateague State Park. The beach was closed temporarily because of rain.
There really were wild horses. I saw altogether around 5 of them.
They don’t bother being in the middle of the road. The cars gotta be extra careful.
A horse approached our car while being in the parking lot.
We moved to another beach that is not closed.
The weather became sunny again.
The waves were too high to get into the sea kinda but some people were swimming/surfing.
The sunset of the day.
We went to The Shark for dinner it was very crowded. All the tables were fully booked and there was a wait list so we went for the counter bar. Luckily there were two seats just out.
It took a very long time to have the food out on a crowded night almost 40min wait I thought my orders are forgotten. The drinks were given complimentary as an apology for serving the meal so late..
We drove far and spent a whole day exploring Assateague.
Nice sandy beaches along the coastline and rare wild horses roaming in the area were amazing.
It was one beautiful nature but we got so tired maybe we should’ve stayed one night camping there or something.
