Galbi, rib, beef meat are normally used in thick cuts with whole bones in Korea. LA style galbi is created by Koreans living in LA and these meat are thin sliced with the rib bones horizontally cut together. I like to chew the hard part

Samgye juk made with healthy herbs of Korean. There are many herb packs sold in h mart. Just grab any of the herb combinations sold for samgye tang and they are mostly the same ingredients.

Korean sweet potatoes are really soft and sweet. Must grill it well in the oven to enjoy in winters. Ggomak bibimbap is a gormet in this season in Korea. You can get frozen ggomak sold in H mart, I recommend the ones taken in Beolgyo

I normally use pork spare ribs for gamjang rather than gamja bone part because it’s easier to eat with more meat. I put lots of shiregi(dried daikon leaves) for more taste and nutrition as well.

Japchae means miscellaneous vegetables in Korean. You can add beef strips and/or mushrooms for this glass noodle vegetable dish. It sounds easy but it’s quite time consuming dish yet tasty!
