Jijimi is often made during Korean traditional national holidays or when it’s raining. It’s often said ‘let’s have jijimi or ramen’ when it’s raining in Korea I don’t know the reason though 🙂 Adults who like to drink enjoy jijimi with makgoli (rice origin alcohol

Sundubu chige is normally made quite spicy but not in my house. It’s made mild enough to have even without rice sometimes.

Grilling fish in the house is a big challenge because the fishy smell stays long in the house and the dish washer as well. However, cooked less than once a year, it is quite a welcomed food for grilled fish lovers.
